E75 Skopi The characteristics of the E75 on Crete are rapidly changing. In a few years, the E75 will not be a beach road and mountain on Crete. The current route between Malia and Sitia, a winding mountain road, is replaced by a straight, elevated highway on concrete pillars. |

E75 Axios ('Olympus Plaza') In Greece, there are no public services along the E75. No toilets, no garbage cans, not even picknick tables. Road side restaurants, such as this one ('Olympus Plaza') on the other hand, have extremely high service levels: massage chairs, shaded parkings, luxury restaurants and even a gras lawn playgrounds for your dog. |
E75 Paralia Kourna On the island of Crete, the E75 is not the familiar north-to-south route, but a beautiful beach road with lots of flowers running in west-east direction. Road side camping alowed. |
E75 Sitia The new route of the E75 will curve around the village of Sitia and its airport, finishing in the industrial harbour. In 2009, the new road was not finished yet. The E75 ended in the historic harbour of Sitia, at this wooden bench. A place just as insignificant as the start of the E75 in Vardø, 5,700 km to the north. |
